This website was really interesting.  It talked about how Henna tattoos are different from regular tattoos, mainly because they are temporary and can be changed depending on the mood of the carrier of the tattoo. It stated, however, that if one gets a Henna tatoo and it’s a black henna tattoo then that can be very risky for the person’s health.  Apparently natural henna isn’t black in color. Henna has a red cast. Black henna tattoos consist of a chemical called para-phenylenediamine. Para-phenylenediamine is used to dye hair black. And that chemical is an allergen, and some people have very strong reactions towards that chemical.
